Are you looking for a comfortable, spacious family SUV but you could also do with the strength of a pickup truck every once in a while? Two words will solve this riddle for you: Chevrolet Tahoe.

Created on the Chevrolet Silverado’s platform and sporting two exceptional V-8 engine choices under its hood, the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe is bigger, better, and stronger than ever before. Let’s take them one by one.

Bigger

Despite being just 4% longer than the outgoing model, the 2021 Tahoe makes far better use of interior space with cargo room up 30% to reach 25.5 cubic feet behind the third row and ballooning to 122.9 cubic feet in total with the right cabin adjustments.

122.9 cubic feet are enough to furnish an entire bedroom from Ikea in one go or build quite the treehouse with supplies from Home Depot, again in one trip.
Legroom is exceptional as the 2021 Tahoe can transport up to 8 passengers in complete comfort. Considering most SUVs struggle to seat 5 adults comfortably, Tahoe’s 8 is that much more impressive.

Better

Now an attribute such as “better” can be subjective, only with the Tahoe, it isn’t since it has so many reasons backing it up. First is its exterior aesthetic that got noticeably better. With modern, sharp lines, squinting LED headlights, and a vibe of unapologetic might, the Tahoe will never pass unnoticed as you drive it down the street.

A real head-turner that will make future owners feel nothing but pride to be spotted behind the wheel of one.

Then there’s the inside of the 2021 Tahoe to talk about. We covered roominess, although words can’t do justice to just how spacious the Tahoe is. It’s best to feel it for yourself, and you can test drive one here at Karl Chevrolet in New Canaan, CT. But apart from roominess, the 2021 Tahoe is also loaded with tech and tons of comfort features. Even base models come equipped with perks such as a 10.2-inch color touchscreen, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, or Bluetooth audio streaming.

We recommend prospective buyers to look at the middle, LT trim, though. For a very reasonable price tag, the Tahoe LT comes with luxuries such as 10-way power-adjustable, leather-trimmed heated front seats with lumbar support, keyless access and ignition, wireless smartphone charging, a premium nine-speaker Bose audio system, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Stronger

Future 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe owners can choose from three powertrain options. First is the standard 5.3-liter V-8 that will belt out 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. If that’s the standard engine, you can imagine where we go from here.

The High Country top trim comes with a 6.2-liter V8 that will deliver a whopping 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Properly equipped, the 2021 Tahoe can tow up to 8,400 pounds, just like a truck. And later this year, the Tahoe will also get a 3.0-liter inline-6 turbodiesel with 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.

If we managed to at least spike your interest in the 2021 Tahoe, come see it here at Karl Chevrolet. Our dedicated sales team will gladly answer all your questions and we can even arrange for you to take the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe out for a test drive.
