Circus Vidbel is coming to New Canaan on June 29 & 30, 2012

June 25, 2012  -  NEW CANAAN, CT

The New Canaan YMCA and the Kiwanis Club of New Canaan have partnered again this year to present the return of Circus Vidbel to the community. Karl Chevrolet is pround to return as a sponsor of this great family event.

The circus will be performing under the big top tent at Saxe Middle School on the playing fields on Friday, June 29, and Saturday, June 30. There will be two shows each day, at 4 and 7 p.m.

The circus will be showcasing new acts, activities and a new "Wild West" theme for its third year performing in town, as well as the return of the popular cloud swing and lyra acts by Susan Vidbel. Circus Vidbel — a family-run, one-ring, old-time circus — has been performing across the United States for more than 20 years.  The show is appropriate for all families, with children of all ages, and no wild animals are part of the performance.

Proceeds will benefit the financial assistance program at the YMCA, ensuring no one is ever turned away from the Y for the inability to pay, in addition to the Kiwanis Community Fund, which allows the club to provide grants to nonprofits whose missions are dedicated to serving children.

Ticket prices are $20 per person in advance and $25 at the door. Children under two are free.
