The Mi-ray's design pays homage to Chevrolet's sports car heritage, taking cues from predecessors such as the 1963 Monza SS and 1962 Corvair Super Spyder, GM said.


SEOUL, South Korea -- General Motors Co. has unveiled a sporty South Korean-developed concept car that showcases a "mid-electric" hybrid powertrain that can run on electric-only front-wheel drive or tap a gasoline engine to turn the rear wheels for extra power.

Earlier this week, I met with executives of CL&P, our local utility company, along with leadership from the Town of New Canaan, including First Selectman, Jeb Walker.  The meeting centered on ways that New Canaan can join the growing trend of municipalities across the country who are adding Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations.  Locally, the City of Norwalk has recently opened a few charging stations at the South Norwalk Train Station and SoNo Parking Facilities.  The town of Westport is preparing to install a series of charging stations at the Westport Train Station.  Other local communities are in various stages of discussing the idea.

Below is a letter from Dr. Peter Kelly, President of the CRUDEM Foundation and the Hopital Sacre Coeur in Milot, Haiti, providing an update on what has happened at the Hospital in the year since the Earthquake struck Haiti.  It is a hopeful account of what happens when the good intentions of an army of volunteers go to work assisting a focused need such as this hospital and the area it serves. 


Here at KARL Chevrolet, we have kept the hospital, its staff, volunteers and patients in our prayers as we had helped supply the Hospital with an Ambulance a couple of years ago.  We have built a specail bond with this organization, and along with our customers, we express our sincere gratitude for all the good they do.  Please take a moment to read Dr. Kelly's account....
